GROWING KANSAS CITY.
It's possible when a group of dedicated advocates come together and influence only the most positive outcomes for a community and its neighbors.THIS IS OUR PURPOSE. THIS IS OUR PASSION.
This is Brush Creek Community Partners. We, along with area business, civic and community leaders, come together in a socially responsible way to enhance and evolve Brush Creek Corridor's economic and community growth.
OUR VISION IS A SIMPLE YET POWERFUL ONE.
Grow a world-class cultural, research and park district connected by thriving businesses that are surrounded by healthy neighborhoods in the heart of Kansas City. Our area of focus and influence for economic development and neighborhood revitalization is Elmwood to State Line Road and 39th Street to 63rd Street.CRITICAL TO OUR FUTURE.
Our well-being goes beyond healthy revenue growth. To see our vision, we must grow every area around us. Economic and community growth comes by nurturing and influencing our arts and cultural avenues, research, higher education, commerce and business, all while focusing on nurturing strong, healthy and cohesive neighborhoods. Branching out allows our community to meet its full growth potential all while building a strong foundation.
OUR ROOTS ARE GROUNDED IN:PLANNING & DEVELOPMENT PROMOTION - Promotion of Planning and Development initiatives for the Corridor will result in positive progress for the urban core.
PLAN REVIEW - BCCP offeres voluntary plan review services and serves as the city advisor on tax increment financing matters in the Corridor. We look at both public and private development or building proposals with a constructive eye to help your project be its best. Together, we can ensure your plan complements the highest standards of development, design and community involvement - all while promoting public policy land use recommendations and ensuring compatible development with institutional and neighborhood master plans.
CORRIDOR PROMOTION - We develop and circulate resources to market and promote the Corridor as the location of choice.
COMMUNICATIONS - Positive communications about the Corridor's progress and potential have tremendous growth power. We're committed to getting the word out and building momentum for the organization's efforts via quarterly newsletters and two websites. We coninually work with media outlets about events and happenings for press coverage and community involvement.
